Default more UUC Rob **** stuff..............

okay... the ups man came a day early. jumping up and down for joy, i run out to the car, package in hand, and go about installing this thang.

alright, i know i'm just a gurl... but i canNOT get this thing screwed on tight (do NOT go there)... and when i DO tighten it down, the shaft cover goes askew, not lining up with the ****!

i'm such a mod-loser... can't even install a friggin shift ****!!

how the heck do i keep the thing lined up... obviously the stock **** has those alignment clips that do it for you... nothing on the UUC. don't make me go buy a MOMO, now... lol

Default you do need to keep the sleeve aligned with the **** as you tighten it...

once its down, its pretty tough to slide around.

Default oookay.... but how?? every time i tighten it down, the sleeve moves to the side,,,,

even holding onto it!

Default Like TTQC said you do have to hold the sleeve to align it with the **** yourself. try screwing it d

as much as possible, but not all the way, so that you can still align with the shaft and then screw it down tighter. Does that make sense? It can be done. Although, after examining it further, it appears that the **** may not line up 100$ to the sleeve. Nonetheless, it has been working out great for me so far.

Default Nancy, I had similar problem this weekend while installing my Momo ****...

As I was loosening my stock ****, the whole shift lever would turn causing the sleeve to be misaligned. I had to twist it back to the right to get it to line up properly. It took my a while, but I was able to get the stock **** loosened. It was on way to tight. I found it helpful to push down on the shifter while loosening the ****. Maybe pushing down on yours while tightening it will help.
