Damn, the home based worker gets busted...

I went back to stock brake pads a few weeks ago, and between that and the rain, I haven't had much interest in washing the thing. I suppose that now I HAVE to. :-)

If you were caught in the snow, I would understand

Did you see the snow yesterday? crazy.

Why did you go back to the stock pads?

warped rotors, EBC's, 20K service coming up... you get the idea.

I hear ya. I've had the porterfields for about 3k now. noisy :(

have tried glueing and reglueing, and beveling the edges. Seems to fix it for a while, but not completely.

What kind of noise; what kind of rotors?

stock rotors. slight consistent squeel when braking lightly

If I really stand on the breaks, they make no noise. Its just when I apply light pressure and roll to a stop that the squeel. no vibration at all in the brake pedal that would suggest any warping of the rotors, and they visibly look fine.

Any ideas?
