APR'd..............And I like it!.....................Woooooooohoooooooooo!
Yes, that's right! After months and months of contemplation; the APR chip is in the Crakkan (my TT).
Summation: "Very Cool MAN!"
First off: Turbo lag is short. short. shorter than before.
Second: What a shocker in 3rd and 4th gear.
Third: I may have to re-learn my timing for driving this puppy.
Fourth: It's going to be a fun summer with the top down! (if it ever gets here...tic-toc)
The removal and install was semi-easy; my hands are VERY scraped and scratched from reaching in there for the ECU.
Haven't had a chance to really push my baby to the limit yet. I installed the chip before cruzin to work today-so I got a chance to get teased a bit on the way in.
Before it really gets taken advantage of, I'm going to change the oil (tomorrow) with some FRESH Mobil 1 and probably some Sunoco super high octane. It's been about 7k since I last changed it out and 2k since getting that "Add Oil" warning message. So until then, I will TRY to be conservative with it (yeah right).
By the way: Is there a date yet for stage III? LOL
And yes, I will be updating my sig soon. Thanks Ahead.
ps. Thanks to everyone on this forum for putting up with my MANY posts about chipping and deciding on which one to get. This forum rocks the house.

Stage 3 compatibility
Supposedly - conservative engine wear (as compared to other chip manufacturers).
Stage III compatibility
They will upgrade your chip software for free when new revisions come out.
And did I mention the posibility of having the chip be compatible with the Stage III for 225 TT's.
