Well...

Mostly because I got a great deal on the set. I may actually get Konis for the rears too but the benefit of the Konis are that they are semi adjustable so I can set the stiffness according to whether I am racing or on the road.

Optimally I think a matched set all the way around is the best way to go.

That's the best answer I can give you.
