Update on Mods
I finally installed all my goodies this weekend, with the exception of the boost gauge and the headlight savers .. A friend of mine (hes the owner of the red corrado you see below) did the harness install while I removed the badges, replaced the plates, and installed the harness bar.. We couldn't install the passenger side harness because the supplied eyebolt was hitting the transmission housing.. I didn't get to try the harness out on the track b.c we didn't finish the install until 3ish, and registration was at 8.. Its an hour drive, so that meant a 6am wake, which was not happening.. Ive been using the lap belts with the stock belts on the street and they are awesome.. Since the lap belts plant you firmly in the seat you don't have to worry about getting thrown around the cabin when cornering hard.. I love the lap belt but can't wait to get a set of race seats.. We used the instructions that Larry posted on the internet for the harness install and experienced no problems.. I bought the harnesses from www.racerwholesale.com and paid 190 for both harnesses and hardware .. Your probably wondering why I ordered the blue, well.. I was going to get black but they were out and only had red and blue.. Since my numbers are blue I thought the blue harnesses would be cool.. At first my friend said I should have got black but they grew on him, and now he says he likes them.. They throw a new twist onto the interior (kinda like the denim blue interior in Robbys car).. Next up.. My 10" aluminum Eclipse sub install with custom fiberglass storage box, UUC exhaust, a pod for the gauge, and race seats (draped with alcantara)... I think Im going to hold off on the track tires and rims because I still have no idea what this car is capable of with street tires.. Oh, I love the look of the rear without the 2 badges, and so far all my friends agree.. It looks so clean, and smooth.. Oh yeah, I forgot, I gotta make my bling bling jewelry...
A little flossing, this method worked perfectly.. Once I sawed the badges off there was an 1/16" thick layer of double sided tape which I was able to peel off..

Ah, soo nice and smooth.. I just hope this confuses at least 1 person.. My Audi Quattro frame, just in case removing the Quattro badge actually removes Quattro..

This is my friends 92' Flash Red Corrado.. Hes got a set of fully adjustable Koni shocks with Neuspeed sport springs and a TT exhaust.. Unfortunately his car isn't running too well- it doesn't idle right (it stalls, rpms go up and down, and its running rich).. Other then those 2 problems the car is awesome.. Its pretty damm fast and has some serious cornering capabilities..
