Default *sigh* people have forgotten how to be nice and considerate.

I get so aggravated when other drivers switch lanes without their turn signal or a glance in the mirror, when they block you, or when they don't wave a quick thank-you when you yield to them or let them in traffic. How hard is it to be considerate of other drivers?
For the record, what I hate most is people who turn left out of a driveway, and instead of waiting for traffic to clear up both ways, they pull in the middle of the right lane, thus blocking traffic. Aaaaargh!
Sorry, I really had to rant about that

Default Yes it is bothersome, but defensive driving must be the mind set to survive...

Here in South Florida the most dangerous drivers are either; old people with their heads barely clearing the top of the steering wheel in huge American metal, or 20 somethings darting in and out of traffic on I95 with no room to spare at 90 mph in imported rice boxes. Best bet expect the worse. However, the wierdest traffic I ever drove in was in Paris on the circle around the Arch of Triumph (I didn't dare spell it wrong in French Axel:-)

Default Personally I hate folks who know a lane ahead is closed. They always keep going and then force

there way in. Which is what's causing the backup in the first place.

Default lol yes I always take my out-of-town friends for a drive around the Arc.

You're right, it is quite terrifying if you're not used to it. I learned how to drive in Paris (my first lesson was on a big Boulevard, at rush hour, in rain, at night), so I'm used to it. But people are actually very considerate and attentive to others there. Here in Chicago, I always feel like drivers are just completely oblivious to others.
But ok, point taken
