Another Aventissimo question. Anyone know a ballpark price on it? I would guess $65-75k, from the

drooling going on in the articles, plus knowing how overly-priced the Allroad is. I find it so strange that the TT, A4, S4, and A6 2.7 are so pleasantly priced, but the A6 4.2, A8(any model) and Allroad are priced to highway robbery standards. The Allroad is actually a joke to me with its price.

my guess is the Avantissmo will be priced above the S8, I wouldn't be surprised if it were in the

$80-90k range. I think they're really gunning for the S-Class crowd, with this one and it's a hell of a car if the concept makes it to production. Just IMO... :-)

R, my friend, Peter, called me from the show yesterday afternoon and said they

had a Misano Red ALMS. He was cracking up; said the Audi person he spoke to didn't have a clue about the car. Why does that not surprise me...

Well if it was an ALMS...

it had no badges and no alcantara interior, just the steering wheel was alcantara.

I don't think they have an alcantera interior (Save The Mighty & Noble Alcant!), just non-standard

colors of leather. Den's is red. I think the red car can be ordered with silver leather...
