Does anyone get pop ups for X10 all the freaking time or its JUST me?

There used to be a page on X10's site where you could go to tell them not to do that.
It doesn't seem to work all the time because I still get the occasional X10 pop-under ad. Of course, that doesn't stop the 10 bajillion other companies that do pop-unders.

member originally posted this link. Wish I could remember who, so I could say thanks. It's a great site with one particular program which is priceless. It's called "POW". Follow the link, scroll down and find the program. Download it and run it on your toolbar. Any time a pop-up comes up that you hate, click on the little pow icon and a box will come up. Double click on the pop-up link that you don't want to see again, then click on done. That's it, the sucker will disappear. They purchase advertising space just about anywhere they can.
When you go to a web page that has ads, there's a good chance that X10 advertises with them. If the X10 ad comes up in that site's rotation, it'll come up. I have no idea how they are able to afford all that advertising, but people definitely notice them because of it.

Cool. I think that this program is the best option since you program it for which pop-ups to close.
Some sites (mostly shopping sites) use pop-ups as part of their program for log-ins, carts, lists, etc. Just using regular pop-up blocker software conflicts with the navigation of these sites. The POW one is great because you can be selective in which pop-ups it blocks. Thus you can still navigate sites that use pop-ups without any problems.
