A lot of people have removed for FMIC install... guess its ok

Default The fascia around the grill looks to be the support for the lower half.

The grills look to be strickly for cosmetics use only.

Default Sh*t happens. BTW, I don't think there's anything wrong with removing the lower grill, except

you would need something to guard against stones or rocks, I'd imagine. But I doubt seriously that that flimsy piece of plastic has any structural value.

Look at Steve Schwing's car, and how he replaced the lower grill with a thick wire mesh. His car looks great.

or the car will fall of the jack. FMIC, you closet ricer:-) Wow, that thing will be sweeter yet. Now I guess you will need that charactere front end to get more air to it (wink). Have fun buddy, get all the practice in on your car, that way when we do mine you will have it all figured out. :-)
