Here they are, cleaned of the shipping oil, and dried.
For more details of some of the following process, see my Front Zimmerman Install on my site.

I started by removing the wheel, natch, and trying to do a little clean-up. It
was 50 degrees today, and the garage was fine for this.

The rotor set screws came out remarkably easy. I removed the caliper, pad,
and caliper bracket. One thing that makes this install a lot easier now, is to
modify a simple wrench. You need a 15mm open end, and a 13mm to remove
the caliper. You need to hold the 15mm nut on the inside of the bracket, and
turn the 13mm on the outside. The distance between the bracket and a metal
spacer on the 15mm side is just a bit too narrow, to allow a std. 15mm wrench
to fit properly. I tried this with 2. I solved this by buying the cheapest 15mm
wrench I could find, made in that large Asian country, and right, deployed
the belt sander. It now fits properly, and I can hold the 15mm side and
tighten the outside without compression of the 15mm side.

Once the caliper is removed, suspend it using a coat hanger wire, on another
part of the suspension. This will allow you to get at the caliper bracket. The
pic here shows the bracket mounted on the new rotor, but it also shows
where the socket head cap screws are. You will need a 8mm Allen wrench to get
this bracket out. These were tight!

Remove the screw on the old rotor hub. This came out easy. I needed to use
a hammer to break both rotors loose. I used a wire brush wheel on a drill
motor, to get rid of the rust. I cleaned off the rotors with carb cleaner, dried
them, and mounted them on the hub. Also, on the cylinder in the caliper, you
can see where I added new Disk Quiet/glue on the surface. I added this to
the pads also.

I re-installed the caliper bracket. I put the pads in place on the new rotors,
fitting them into the slots on the caliper bracket. Then I slipped the caliper
over the pads, replaced the screws, and the job is done.

I drove on them a bit, and they are bedding in nicely, thank you.

LR Engineering
