I think Im starting to learn what this quattro/esp is all about..

So, Im coming along to the best part of my daily commute (end of cross county parkway merging onto the saw mill- hard left, 50yard straightway, hard left, right), and there are 2 cars blocking the left lane and 2 blocking the right lane..

Just before we all enter the first hard left the 2 cars in the right lane get off , and I make my move to the right lane.. I go through the first hard left at 65mph, and up ahead there is a car in the left lane doing 40ish.. Well, the 2 lanes merge into 1 after the 2nd left so I stay on the gas (still in the straightaway), and pass the car.. Im now at the second hard left and I figure lets she what she can do (I have 2 lanes to myself), so I make the hard left (foot easing off the gas), and she starts to side to the right, during that split second I think humm, this is cool and finally realise it was time to slam on the gas.. Once I did that the car caught and straightened out..

I love it..

i really have to drag MY butt to a proper driving course...

i would have instinctively slammed on the brakes instead of the gas. <ack>

It's tough to do b/c your first instinct is to hit the brakes a big

NO NO!! The trained driver is a beautiful thing! I still get to kick your buTT on the Auto-X. Porsche event on the 7th at Tobay. Wanna race!!! Also a BMW race at the coliseum. Usually the BMW events are less crowded maybe 20 cars. Sometimes get in 8 runs over 1 minute each.
