Anyone else get and Audi Magazine today? I have no idea what the marketing department
has in mind as a plan. I get like one a year.
This one was most interesting as it has a letter attached AND an article inside that states according to an independent research firm, Audi owners and shoppers are the most internet savvy of any brand in the world. 81% of Audi shoppers will use the internet to surf car research sites.
Internet savvy? Us? Who in the hell are they talking about.
Another external source also states in that article that Audi's demographic is the most desirable in the highline range in that they are "heading for the average birth year to be between 1970 and 1977." I am a 1970. You?
There is a small vague mention of the camaraderie or some such nonsense of Audi owners on the internet forums. They are watching us, I think. Hi!!!
It's amazing how well Audi is marketing to me. Or the "Me's" that make up whatever demographic categories I fit into. I was thrilled about the article and just about everything in the magazine was appealing including but not limited to a 6 page fold out of the A4 Avant.
Makes it hard to leave the fold, if I do.

Yeah, I get one every blue moon too. I really like it but can't find a way to get more of them...
I figure they save costs my randomly sending it to groups of people in certain demographic groups. That way everyone gets at least 1 !!
Tell me if you find out how to get them to send us samples on a more consistent basis ! Oh by the way, the recepies always turn out good !

Got mine the other day and laughed when I saw it was Dec 2001 Issue and
the contest at the back has an ending date of Jan 31, 2001! lol Guess I can't win now. 
These magazines come out 4 times each year. It is up to each person dealership to subscribe to the magazine for the car owner. The dealers supposedly pay for these from what I have been told by a few different people within AoA.
