APR chips

I am the very proud owner of the 2002 Denim blue TT above, and I was reading about the APR chip upgrade. Does anyone have any useful info on perfomance increase, problems, warranty issues that could help me?

side note...

just curious...did you opt for the 6 spoke rims?

Oh yes.... They are by far better than those shiny five spokes....

I've got about 20k on my APR chip

It's been nothing but fun and I don't baby the TT --

I have the EMCS option with stock/chip/ and Fault Erase/Throttle Body Adjustment

When I go to dealer, I put it back in stock mode.

After talking with APR people, I have confidence that they make the chip so it doesn't exceed what the car can do. Just make sure the installer knows how to solder that chip in well.

I think you will find more fun with an exhaust also -- milltek, borla, APR
