Question about tinting..

I want to tint my windows in silver...I've seen a mercedes in Philadelphia with Silver tint and was curious if anyone knows anything about how they do it.

It looked almost as if they spray the windows or something.

Anyone have this done or have info on tinting?

as far as i know the silver tinting is the same as the regular...

tinting, it'a a sheet that they basically glue to your window, i've hear that it isn't as good and that it flakes off easily though

Tints come in various levels of reflectivity and opacity.....>>>

It's a film applied to the inside of the window. My car is 35% with a slight relectivity. Hit my Fotki link below my sig and go to the Tint install album to see how it's done. (Fotki may be down at the moment)

My standard caution about window tint follows:

If you have a V1, <i>do not get metallic tinted windows.</i> It will break the V1's ability to perform proper TDM calculations which allow the system to identify the radar source's location. It's an "unsupported config" from Valentine Research. In fact, they recommended I <b>not buy one</b> for my Expedition, as it has Formula One metallic tint.
