Spring is in the air..
I drive a 225 roadstter and travel 495 (a highway in Northen Massachusetts) to work. Today this WRX pulls up behind me, then swings to the right to race. It is rush hour and we both have cars about 25 yards in front of us. He hits his gas, (accelerates pretty fast,) and I decide this is a game I will pass on and brake and slow down. He must have thought he had one fast car. He then had to brake very hard or he would have hit the cars in front of us. Not sure how many times he will have to replace brakes and what fun is it racing 30 feet.
About 5 minutes later in the same traffic conditions a MR2 pulls up and hits the gas (much slower then the WRX). I slow up and watch him have to brake before he hits the cars in front of us. However, he could not slow up quick enough and has to swing to the right to pass that car, not seeing the car in the right lane. He didn't hit either but it was close and the horns were loud.
What an I missing, is it them, Spring in the air, a full moon or me or maybe its just Massachusetts drivers.
Does anyone see this anywhere else.
my apologies to the boston drivers on the forum (but you'll probably agree with me).
