Default It's in a Mark IV Golf, so yes it could easily fit into a TT. But the Mark V is out this year or

next with a TT refresh in 2005 model year on that platform. Definitely interesting for them to do that with the V6 but I wouldn't hold your breath. TT still sells to well and Marketing Plan II seems to be to add Tiptronic with bigger engine / more HP somewhere in Marketing Plan III or IV.

Default HGP Turbosystems in Germany is working on a twin turbo kit for the 3.2L VR6 with power estimates

in the neighborhood of 550-600 whp on pump gas. These are the guys who developed the twinturbo setup HPA sells.

It's going in the second generation S3 so it could, theoretically, be in the next TT

Default If they make MKV platform TT which at this point I'm not sure they are gonna do. IMO

they are better off using the B6 platform and doing a coupe. Put a 2.9L twin-turbo six in it, a variation of the Cabrio interior with real Recaro's and a six speed and i'd be interested. Unless they turbo the VR6 - it's not going to produce more than 250hp in NA form. Plus they are still using the cast iron block for the 3.2L VR6 which is bigger and heavier than the 2.8L. Until they use an all alloy engine for the 3.2L VR6, i'd prefer a B6 chassis car. However, I would prefer the haldex system. Hopefully they'll switch to the all alloy block for the VR6 by the time the MKV's are out.

Plus can Audi really change the TT and not loose sales? I don't think a real 2+2 TT is necessary as has been the most common rumour. What would they do with the roadster?
