Default Ok, I am getting an iPod tomorrow from work...
I need a cheap firewire card for my secondary PC (I no longer have any avail. PCI slots in my primary machine). I want as cheap as possible, since the only thing this is going to run is the music upload/download.

Default Question, is there Windows software for the iPod yet? I heard it was in the works...
I've been wanting an iPod, but don't have a MAC.

Default I have been following this one company that is on their 3rd beta build
Should be good enough for transfering the music. Not sure about how indepth it gets though.

Default I think Toshiba has a similar product available in Japan, soon to be us
its a hard disk model that uses USB 2 as the connection. Supposedly the hard drive is removable, so you could get a larger drive. They come in 2 and 5 gigs. Available in Japan . . . here in the fall maybe.
