Default Q's for quaTTrings or others in the know...

1)Where do you get the Mattig rear valence? Cost? Picture from side anywhere? The APR tips fill the exhaust openings very nicely...any modifications needed?

2)Read that the AbT front spoiler needed a lot of Prep work to fit properly. Could you elaborate and be specific? Was any further modification needed for the Front Mount Intercooler?(I'm planning on adding the Forge.)

3)Source and part # for the JE Design Mesh grill? Is it aluminum, plastic, SS ? How do you "add" the Audi rings to it.

4) The ALMS has the 18inch Avus wheel. I believe these are 8.5 inches...is that correct? What is the widest tire you can mount on them for the rears, and would a 235 front tire be a problem? Also. Is there a wider width available in that same exact wheel style, or can they be widened to say 9.5 inches, and by whom, approx cost?

5) Pro's and Con's of Stop-Tech vs. Porsche big Brake kit.

TIA for anyone's help,
Dave

1)Where do you get the Mattig rear valence? Cost? Picture from side anywhere? The APR tips fill the exhaust openings very nicely...any modifications needed?

-I purchased my Mattig rear valence from Tuning Zubehor in Simi Valley,Ca. (can't remember the exact price, somewhere near 350.00) I needed to drop the exhaust slightly to fit it into the rear valence. I just went to a muffler shop and had them heat the hangers. Heres a blurry sideview of the MAttig Rear Valence: http://community.webshots.com/storage/1/v2/8/16/84/41281684BzrXoB_ph.jpg

2)Read that the AbT front spoiler needed a lot of Prep work to fit properly. Could you elaborate and be specific? Was any further modification needed for the Front Mount Intercooler?(I'm planning on adding the Forge.)

-The ABT front spoiler was much easier than I expected. I had to remove the factory lower grills and some material around the edge of the outside grills also needed to be removed so that the spoiler could "pop in" properly. I have a Spearco intercooler that was very easy to install myself. I had custom mandrel bent piping made so that I wouldn't lose the aliens..Fits perfectly.

3)Source and part # for the JE Design Mesh grill? Is it aluminum, plastic, SS ? How do you "add" the Audi rings to it.

-The JE Design grill was ordered from www.rapidparts.com (209.00) and it is very high quality fiberglass. The mesh is black metal. I added the rings and quattro badge by using silicone sealant. It takes a few hours to dry, but it really holds well to mesh.

Hope this helps...
