Well folks, my car is officially in the shop for repair of that very NASTY key job..................
Told them to take their sweet time with it because I prefer it RIGHT to fast....
Guy came highly recommended from a fellow forum member, so I am hopeful it will be done to my complete satisfaction....
Happy that my nephew's car is here for me to use...Damn his little GTI is FAST!!!!! Is is faster than my TT???

Job is going well. The person I am replacing is leaving today for her maternity and the longer she goes before popping the longer I am here! I don't see this ending before September though, possibly October.

Bob - There was NO WAY I could delay this repair...The minute I would approach the TT my heart would
sink...There was no way NOT to see all the damage...
Figured it wasn't a good idea to drive it with my eyes closed...so in it went IMMEDIATELY!!!!
