What do you guys think about me buying an old porsche?
Since I have alot of cool tools, I want to step up and start using it. I always wanted a Porsche, so I'm considering buying an old porsche and fixing it up on my weekends. Which porsche do you think I can pick up for a couple of thousand?

A rusted Beater 944 with no upside potential. Unless you're willing to spend $10K plus for something with potential I'd pass. You might find an older (and still rusty) 914 to play with. Neat in it's day and OK if you're nostalgic for an old volkswagen. Porsche rebuilding can be cheap or expensive depending on the car and condition.

I know I don't want a 914...
For some reason, that just doesn't appeal to me. I always wanted a 911. I don't really care what year, as long as its dirt cheap. I don't even care if it doesn't have an engine. I just want something I can learn on.
