Wonder if I'm Slowly Losing Power ???? Your Collective Thoughts are Appreciated
While at TT-East, I had my TT chipped by APR. Afterwards, particularly in the Deals Gap drive, when I wound the car up I got the great whooshing sound. Since then, even at a road course, I never hear that sound anymore.
While my car still pulls strong, it just doesn't feel quite as strong as it did. I don't notice any stumbling, or gaps in power, just overall it seems to have lost a bit.
With all the talk about Forge DV 006 issues, I'm just wondering if something is going wrong there.

Powerful --- Well, just a thought.
To attempt to answer, you haven't told us which DV you have -- even though you mentioned the 006 discussion -- but it could be your DV is not working properly --
From what I have read here for the past 15 months, could be a malfunctioning DV even though you haven't described the honking sound.
OR it could be something simple, like hot weather -- the car doesn't have as much hp when the weather heats up -- and it could feel sluggish -- Have you tried the car early in the morning before the heat is on? -- so to speak.

but often I find myself in the same situation, wondering if I'm losing power... Regardless of the car I drive at the moment. But then I constantly remind myself that it might be the case of me getting used to what the car is capable of and losing the element of surprise. Like with the TT (although the ECU is constantly adapting), I beleive I'm just getting used to it, that's all.

My car keeps getting stronger (but maybe cause i keep messing with it!). What DV are you running? 006? Alum or plastic piston? Give us some more info.

Hey Steve, wait until you've been running that Chip for a year -- my car feels
like its flying lately even after 22k miles with the chip and the 006 DV.
Even though the DV is not giving me problems Michael TT sent me a slightly used 007 and we will put that in this week.

OT: The Borg don't have collective thoughts...
'cause each and every single drone separated from the collective complained about inability to hear other's thoughs, hense I beleive their thoughts were individual but available for others
