any feelings on H&R sport springs

Because Larry has stock shocks - they won't lower as much with Bilstein's
more like 1" all around. This has been seen on the various MKIV platforms. For example GTI's with just H&R sports were 1.2 to 1.3 lower than stock - those with Bilstein sports - like my old GTI were exactly 1" all the way around.
The H&R's also lower the car and retain the 1/4" factory rake where as Neuspeeds lower it more in the rear to level the car out.

Have you measured them or are your eye's good enough to see the .2" difference? :-)
H&R's say 1.2 to 1.3 for the MKIV GTI as well. This was heavily debated 3 years ago when we first started modding the MKIV cars. Everyone was pissed their car was only lowered 1" not the 1.2/.3 as advertised. Bilstein was contacted - they agreed that their shock "raise" the car ever so slightly over stock shocks.

I measure it against mine and it was the same .. .
don't forget the TT is a heavier car and might be helping in "sagging" the springs. The VW's are light and will be getting raised. Make sense? Now, go and mow some lawns will you? Mod money awaits you! lol
