What engines came in the TT's in 2000?

Default What engines came in the TT's in 2000?
I will be selling my civic in the very near future, and I was looking to purchase a used a4. Well long story short I test drove a 98 a4 1.8t quattro manual over the weekend and I felt it was grossly underpowered (I believe it was only 150hp or so, my civic right now is at about 165 and a lot lighter). Needless to say I was a bit disgusted, so I have been looking at tt's. I see a couple 2000's for sale in my area, but no engine specs are given (they all happen to be fwd though, can't find a quattro). Anyone know the hp? tq? Are these cars lighter, heavier, or equal to the a4's? Thanks in advance!

180 FWD, 180 Q and 225 Q

2000 only had the 180hp K03 engine 173 ft/lb torque

No 225 in 2000, only the 180's. :P

What kind of numbers can I expect w/ chip & exhaust??

Default Is this not true in Europe/UK? In the US, only the 180s were sold, but I seem to remember otherwise
in overseas markets for the 2000 MY.

210-225 hp 245-255 ft. lbs is what I would estimate, depending on what you use of course....
