Sound like a DV issue?

I notice that while pulling off the line, I get very little thrust until I hit about 2500 RPM's. Is this typical? It seems like it's gotten worse since I got the car.

FYI, I have the OEM DV in a 2000 180C.

So you are not feeling the boost kick in until 2,500?

Could be any number of things, one of which could be the DV. Are you feeling lots of boost once you get to 2,500 and beyond? About when does the boost drop off? Is it at least sticking around to 5,500? How is it in other gears? If you get into second and let the car idle down to around 1,200 rpm and punch it, when does boost kick in?

Yes Larry..

When I get to the point where the boost kicks in (around 2500), it's enough to throw my head back.

I can check on the 2nd gear to see at what RPM the boost kicks in. But I do know that if I slow down at a "Stop" sign, while not quite stopping, and I pull out in second, the boost isn't there right away.

Thoughts?
