Default Those with X chips.... and a boost gauge

Does your boost spike to 21 - 22psi (1.4-1.5 bar) upon initial acceleration setting the computer into "limp mode" with decreased power and a max of 10psi?

Im wondering if this issue is due to an inadeqaute California fuel grade, or a chip that is too aggressive? I notice this during freeway driving, and I am unable to drop down a gear to overtake someone. It works fine from a dead stop where the engine is reving faster than the boost is coming on.

Default My boost can peak to 20-21 psi.

I don't know how accurate it is since I tapped the gauge off the DV.

I don't see the limp mode. If my DV is working correct, initial spile to 20psi then slowly drop to 16psi and hold there till next shift.

Are you able to drop a gear (downshift) and get the same results?

Default That doesn't sound right..

My stock 225 peaks around 13ish psi, then within a second drops to 12ish and holds it till about 5900rpms where it actually increases, then at around 6200rpms it begins to drop hard..

Default I notice that mine seems to go into limp mode (10psi) everytime Im on the freeway doing 55 mph and

drop the car in third so that I can get up to 80 quickly. It's really annoying, and where I was previously able to pull on RX7s and WRXs, I now have a hard time pulling on any car. This is a different story if I take off from a dead stop, the car is fast in these conditions.

Default at 55ish you around 5900rpms (in 3rd) if memory serves me correct..

At which point you might start to lose boost like me.. If your going 55 you might as well go to 4th at which you'll be crusing at about 4000rpms.. ****, stock I have enough power to stick with a rex..

Default mine peaks as 1.5, but then settles to a nice 1.1 / 1.2...

the only "flat spot" I noted before is in 2nd gear where I feel a "burp" or "hiccup" at 3500-4000 rpm. The power pulls back when under moderate acceleration. However, been driving the car pretty hard and notice it less.

My car pulls in every gear all the way to 7100, even strong in 5th and 6th gear. BTW, notice better boost with the new 007P DV, had the 006 previously.
