Installing a new Changer

Hey Folks,

I'm looking at installing a Sony CDX-565MXRF CD/MP3 changer in the trunk of my 01 TTR. It connects to the audio system through FM modulation (using, I believe, a direct connection to the antenna cable). I want to maount it in the cubby hole at the front of the trunk.

Have any of you done this? Any pointers and tips? Does FM modulation give poor sound qualtiy?

Some specific questions I know I have are:
- Is there an accessibile pass-through from the trunk to the passenger compartment for the control/display cable?
- Is the antenna cable relatively easy to get to from the trunk space?
- Is there a ready power lead in the trunk space to run the thing?

i get a kick that "crutchfield" asks for car stereo advice! (i know you're not related.) anyway...

the fm modulated sound won't be able to sound any better than regular fm radio -- so you'll get less frequency response than you would with a cd. on the other hand, it shouldn't be worse sounding than fm, either.
