V1 laser sensitivity.... apologies if this is redundant:
I pulled up at a stoplight yesterday behind a Chevy Trailblazer (who had his brakes on, duh). V1 goes NUTS with laser alert. His brake lights go off, the V1 stopped.
What is it about the brake lights that trigger the laser? Never had this happen before; only red neon signs at a store (or similar) have done this.
Does my V1 need service do ya think?

Happened once before with my 8500 behind a Trailblazer.
I also got a false laser alarm once when I was driving straight into the bright morning sun and I sprayed my windshield washer. I am guessing the water diffracted the sunlight and it matched the wavelength of the laser close enough to trigger the alarm. Although I'm no physicist, so that's my only explanation.
