If you had to do it over again, would you get a TT?
I'm not sure what I am going to do. TT is still in the running, but I am looking at a few others. An upcoming house purchase is also a consideration.

A4
350z
Boxster (can't afford S)
RSX (drove it, not completely sold)
There are some others I like, but not really in my price range. I like the 350z but I am not sure on availability or if I really want it for $32k. It has some nice power, but it isn't a TT.

Scott do some test drives and see what your gut tells you
your amungst friends now so no matter what you get you'll be fine. House purchase? where? what? details - BBQ house warming??
I've been talking to a local guy off the 350z board and we'll go for some drives soon. I don't care what people say for the money it's "bang for buck" as for the styling and build - well of course it's not a TT.
But 290hp (just about) out the door, race brakes (on track) and Nav for $37k. Within 6mths NISMO (Nissan Motorsport) are going to be selling parts (tuning) through the dealers so <b>ALL</b> mods will be warranty covered!!
I guess I am just feeling sorry for my TT as I have too much heat soak (with X chip) so need a FMIC to cure it - perhaps then I'll be ok

Keep the TT, or wait a year or two on the Z350...
I say wait on the Z since the car will be brand new, and we all know what it is like to own a brand new car. Second, wait to see how man you will see on the road in 2 years.

I don't mind getting a 350Z or a 911 Targa......
if my boss can give me a 100% pay raise. I drove my friend's '01 911 carrera yesterday. Man, the car has plenty of power and the handling is excellent! Don't mind getting one of those. Too bad the car is out of my price range. He paid 89k out the door.

Gary, some of us got problematic cars. That is why. I think Scott's is being lemoned...
so you understand why he is hesitant to buy a new one.
If I had it to do all over again today, assuming I was going to pay for a TT, I don't know what I would do. The TT would not be an automatic choice.
