Okay, stupid newbie mechanic questions. In an effort to prepare myself for front end removal,
Here is the first step, apparently..my question is what do the number in parentheses mean...(13x), (7x), etc. Is that the number of turns on a screw driver....be nice, remember everyone has to start somewhere... TIA for your help. Are the self-tapping screws something unique to deal with or a cinch? Also, any little weird things that are a particular pain that I should know about?

You also do not need to remove the belly pan of the car, that can remain.
You will need a deep socket (cant member if it is a 10mm or 13mm) and an extension for removing the 4 nuts that are below the headlights.
Other than that, there is no real surprises

5) remove the 2 big phillips screws on the bottom
Wiggle the nose off to the front, disconnect and clamp off the alien line (it's good to have a helper for this).
Dat's it!
