Default H&R spacers vs. H&R sport springs, any opinions?

I was thinking of getting either 4 20mm spacers or 4 sport springs for my 225qc. They're about the same cost, but i'm not sure in which case i'll get the most out of my money for performance. need some advice.

keepin it gangsTTa!!!

Default Don't put H&R's on stock shocks...>

without putting new shocks on that can better handle the spring rates. After all the H&R issues here, personally, I'd look at other alternatives...

A good spring/Shock combo will get you a good performance bang for the buck. Spacers won't.

Default what about Eibach springs on stock shocks...?

if i end up buying shocks with springs that puts me at about $900 and if i spend that much i might look into alternate mods. do you think i'm better off with some quality spacers and if so what size?

Default Well.....>>

You're just going to have to do the job twice (same labor for springs AND spring/shocks). My stock shocks had lost their edge by 5K miles. Unless your car is brand new I wouldn't. On spacers, 15 and 25 mm work well with stock wheels...Pics here:

http://public.fotki.com/ttschwing/spacer_install/</a

Default Spacers will only enhance the looks of your TT, and minor handling improvements

shocks/springs will improve both looks and performance in a big way.

so figure out what you want out of the deal.

Default The car is fairly new...about 5k miles...

Does it matter if the spacer size is different in the front compared to the rear? 15/25 as opposed to 20/20?

Default H&R Sports without a doubt, on stock shocks.

Had my setup for a year now, oh how i pull on my buddy's 400hp S4 in corners McDonald's has been killing peeps for ages and yet everyone still eats it, don't listen to wankstas saying it ain't good with stock shocks and just do it.

Unless you're using hubcentric spacers, wheels just wobble higher than a 5mm spacer.
