Moro Blue... is there any purple in the color? (more)

I am from the A4 group... sorry to intrude (TT's are awesome BTW, you all have great taste!). Audi announced Moro Blue for the 2004 A4 and was wondering if I should hold off to get that color or go for a 2003 color. Moro looks nice in the TT borchure. It's a shade darker than Denim if my eye sees it correctly. Mainly though, I just want to know if there is any purple in Moro. Any comments?

its a really dark blue

no, i didn't see any hints of a purple in it. go to the dealer and check it out, that is the best way for you to see.

Make sure you see it outside in natural sunlight...

When I first saw mine, I thought it was black. But it was sitting in the show room under flourescent light. My Sig should give you a good idea. I don't see any purple at all.

I think its a tough color to photograph well. (like pearl-white)

It's dark, but I couldn't say I've noticed any purple tint

Like others have said, its a really dark (navy) blue -->

At times, I have noticed a small hint of purple. It is probably the effect of the pearl with the dark color.

Definately check it out in the sun ... it has a dark blue "glow" that is hard to describe. The only downside is that it is like owning a black car ... swirls and rock chips show.
