Is it difficult to remove the front bumper with the wheels still on?

not impossible but on a scale of 1-10 (10 being hard) 20
In order to remove the front bumper you have to undo 4 screws (2 each side) which are accessed using deep 10mm socket.
These screws are located behind the wheel liners which is why front wheel removal is best (for best and least damage results)

definitely true... I never look forward to pulling off the front clip..
