to buy or not...400 miles
OK, I'm definitely obsessive. The dealer I've been working with finally found the car I want. He tells me today that it has 100 plus miles and is about 275 miles away at another dealership, so when the car arrives to my location it will have about 400 miles on it. He also tells me that the driver, who will take it the 275 miles, will likely be a retiree. He also tells me that it was not a demo, that the previous 100 plus miles are from it being driven from another dealer. Then he asks me...do you want the car? I'm thinking of all the other possibilities...that the first 100 plus actually are demo miles, that the 275 additional miles are also demo, and even if not, that the driver of the 275 miles is a teen who is paid based on how quickly he can get it from point A to point B. So, what do you think?

I send em to pick up Motorcycles (with a truck) all the time. Lots of them work for car dealers doing this too. You've got 4 years and 50K worth of warranty. Don't sweat the small stuff if it's the combo you want. My toyota truck had 300 miles on it too when I bought it.

Well I'm obsessive too and I wouldn't buy it because the first 1k miles
are very important on this car. We all know what we do just on short test drives with cars that aren't ours. When I tested the car out I ran the pi$$ out of it (90 to 100) but I didn't buy THAT one I ordered one and got it with 6 miles on it.
Some drivers (many) are paid by the mile and not by the hour so how slow would you go in that case! I would want to get my butt home ASAP and drive another one because fast time is money, my money.
