2002 vs. 2003 225 roadster
I heard that the 2003 may have some updated airbag placement or mechanics, but other than that the grille and badging are it. Can anyone confirm? And, are there other differences that I haven't mentioned? I ask because all of a sudden there is a 2002 which I can lease at $35 less a month than a 2003. Your thoughts?

It's just a lease..... not yours to keep anyway. I'd go with the newer one though.
I was told it's only cosmetics as well. Other than that, it's OK. But why not pay a little more and get the newer one?

2003 has new engine variant - BEA - No idea on the changes
Stereo is different (better than what I had in my 2000). Rear-view mirror is now smaller and I think is that same as in the roadster. Internal motion sensor is gone.
You can get the 2003 with 18" wheels/tires and comes in new colors.
