Default confliting reports from my dealer about the AUDI line of performance exhausts...
in short, my audi parts guy said the part number doesn't exist (i gave him the one from the VWvortex posting) and that he called AOA and they told him there was no such thing. weird. i'm interested in this exhaust because i am assuming that there would be NO warrantee issues. anyone know otherwise about the performance exhaust from audi existance?

Default Same experience w/ my dealer ... he checked all three PartNos.
The VWVortex post said they wouldn't be in database for awhile so the Parts Mgr at the dealer said he would keep trying.

In the end, I think Forge or a Borla is the way to go anyways. I'm leaning towards the Forge with the new slanted tips. Buthink I will need to shorten as they stick out to far from the valence.

Default Yes. I do not expect this will cause me any problems though ...
whether I go with Audi's or another mfr's performance exhaust system if this is why you are asking.

Default There is not a way to have a warranty issue from an exhaust. starts after the cat.
the car and all it's electronics, smog, etc. have done it's job and it makes no difference what exhaust is on there.

they haven't put the numbers in the system yet - try again in mid february.......
