where in the world did you ship your TT? and is it temporary?
I must have missed some post about you leaving the island. Must have been some good incentive to leave. 
That first shot is right across from the rental we're staying in. I'm going through a long process (sub div approval, etc..) before hopefully all things go through on a home in Kailua.
fyi, there is some talk over here about a inter island ferry system (high performance boats that are going to take about 3 hrs, but cheaper than plane and minimal cost for bringing your car along with you).

Its an extended temporary stay on the other BIG island.. west coast. Hopefully I'll wrap things up
here in 2 years & be back on the island again. Could potentially be really lucrative, but I do miss the lifestyle & people in general.
I heard the talks of the ferry a while back too.. but you know how things are sometimes.. talk talk. It would be really cool
