Default I can lower it while sitting in the front seat, raising requires

me to stand, probably depends on how long your arms are. It takes less than 15 sec. to raise or lower.

Default Yes, 180 FWD's it was an option. 225 TTRs' it was std., BUT...

in late 2000 (Model year 2001) there was either a factory SNAFU or a parts supplier problem and some, I think about 1000 or less, 225 TTR's shipped with manual tops, and the owners got a $500 rebate, some actually got more. the dealer too got part of this rebate.

I saw a 2001 225 TTR w/manual top. At the time, I thought WTF? Now I know why.

Default Yes- was fall of 2000- My 225TTR was delivered 7/00 and the snafu was after then, I remember people

with Sept./Oct. delivery dates being offered a discount or delay. Word then (unofficial) was parts shortage for the power tops so rather than stop production they made all roadsters with manual tops. Not sure if shortage was source problem or audi goof up in ordering.
