HELP!! Passenger Door won't close. Door latch won't disengage

Has this happened to anyone? Im not sure if its the cold wheather, but my car is parked in my parkign garage, I went to open the pasenger side door today, and went to close it, and bang, the door wont close cause the latch is jammed or something. Any suggestions on what I should try doing?

I have already tried to manually adjust the latch without any luck.

Figured it out! Hold door handle up, and THEN push latch over to oposite side
