Xpost, 180TTC upgraded to GT25r..
i seriously considered to buy APR 3, but when their price labled $3999 something was discounted $100 during last last christmas, i called and ordered. after having ordered, they called me and started saying it was $4200 due to a different Downturn pipe and their website price was wrong. bit mistrusting, i said sure. they called again after a day or so and said it was $5200 including SS DP, and they said turbo won't work without the DP. $1000 for the SS DP and the lady said they were not making any money off because it was a hard DP to fabricate. so at this point i felt screwed by them jacking up the price with each call. $5200 is way over my budget, and i felt getting raped. i cancled the whole deal with a dissapointment.
so thank you APR, doing custom work is much sweater than buying a kit, because it has my blood and sweat in it.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/performance/msgs/61933.phtml">Clicky</a></li></ul>
i can see problems if you are planning to run 22pis+, but i prefer to run around 18psi upto 7000rpm and that should be enough for 300whp and thats all i am aiming.
but given turbo sizes, gt25r is right next to gt30r and gt35r. gt25 is very popular in japanese evo and wrx. its known to create over 400hp with the right setup.
most parts are homemade, the only thing bought was turbo and atp manifold.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/performance/msgs/61605.phtml">part 1 of upgrade</a></li></ul>
