Help- horn not working (long, sorry)
Hi guys, I tried searching archives, but couldn't find an answer.
I got my '01 225 TTR about three weeks ago and just yesterday noticed the horn doesn't work at all (got cut off by a flippin volvo wagon, hit the horn and just heard click out of the far left side of dash where the fuses are) I checked the horn fuse. When I lock the car the horn sounds, but when i try to press the horn on the steering wheel on either side, only clicks and no sound comes out. Jeff mentioned alarm horn is separate from the main one. Many of you have upgraded to stronger horns like hella. I am just asking your opinion on what the problem might be before either upgrading to hella if the old horn broke or taking it to the dealer if the problem is not the horn itself but something else like a different fuse.
