Find out/rat on dealer service departments

Look at http://1.8t.org/dealer to read evaluations about Audi service departments throughout the country. You can also post your thank yous/gripes to your favorite/hated dealers.

Read the good reviews carefully. Some dealers with poor ratings appear to post there own positive reviews. They are short and you will see 2 consecutice good ratings usin the same/similiar words.

WOO HOO! Someone who actually knows how the car business works!

I'm glad to see someone who knows that Audi/VW dealerships are graded! We all get ratings, and after every service or sale is completed, the manufacturer (not the dealer) may call you up and ask you a survey about your experience. Just remember, these surveys weigh HEAVILY on us salesmen. If I get a bad CSI (Customer Service Initiative... aka, the survey) I get $ taken out of my pay. So be NICE about it, unless you have a REAL reason to slam them! Service is the same way. The service writer (the person you talk to when you go in for service) is rated heavily on these surveys. The dealerships get a lump average of all these surveys as their "rating". It's usually seperated, sales, and service. It really can tell you a lot about a dealership though... unless there are a lot of jackass customers who are just bitter people and slammed the dealership... but if a dealer gets a good rating, chances are, they're really good!
