Anyone read MotorTrend on the new C6?
I didn't realize they were making it so much smaller. I'll have to check it out at the autoshow this week in Philly...
400hp and the size of a Porsche. $50K.
And, the interior doens't look so cheesey anymore.

Camaro... Firebird... whatever. As long as it's good and GM doesn't make more than 2 brand versions
of it, I say, welcome back.
Haven't heard any development in that area though. Guess they gave up and decided to make that "Pirana small" POS with a "CD-MP3 player"
If and WHEN the f-body returns, it better not be f-ed up like the monte carlo. SS my ***.

I don't think that it will return... for some reason
Insurance companies think that a V8 is no good as compared to a 4cyl turbo with the same power. Insurance on those cars was ridiculous.
Now with the EVO and STI, and all these other pocket rockets.. people no longer are drawn to big 8 cyl's with gobs of torque sadly.

only 0.1 in longer than a 911 (shortened by 5 in)...and stock is 400 hp :)

Anyway.. Not sure how good you are with RWD, but stock C5 Z06s are running 11.6s at 117 with a GOOD driver.. BONE STOCK.. Not one single mod.. I only mentioned that because the new C6 Vette is about on par with the C5 Z06.. Should be interesting.. Im looking forward to the NY Auto show so I can sit in one..
Im loving the new vette, but Im loving the idea of awd and 450whp..

Hard to get online these days...
The only rwd car I've had was my old Toyota pickup (yes it was modded too). I'm with you on lovin the new Vette, and definite an awd 450 hp TT would be hard to pass up too. New vette....engine swap....hmmmm
