How many guys here have modded TT's with high mileage..->
I have a 00' 180TT, getting close to 60K miles...please post your miles and mods......just curious of how many people stuck it out and kept modifying their high mileage TT instead of trading it in for a new one....I just don't want to regret spending more on it if I have to also spend more just to keep it running..(I have a year and a half left on my extended warranty)...

I'm at 58.5K miles, but do not consider this high...
My first mod was at 400 miles, EBC pads.
Next day I hard-wired my Passport and never looked back.
Had an APR chip since aboput 17K miles.
I'm not as mod'ed as others, but also intend on keeping the car at least 1,2 more years.
Hang onto your warranty, you are gonna need it at 75-80K.

We have the same cars...
I'm at 59K and just did the 60K service including timing belt, water pump, etc. My car is heavily modded (chip, susp., FMIC, yadda yadda yadda).
Today, my car drives just a well as it ever did and my list of gremlins is exactly zero. By in large, if you don't have a lot of issues in the first years of ownership, you shouldn't all of the sudden find that your car becomes a lemon as it gets older.
IMO, if you like your car and it drives nicely now, it will continue to do so as it ages and gains more miles.

I just got back from my last warranty visit (50K) the service manager told me it would be my last ..
"free" visit. I really just started performance modding last year after I won a chip at TTeast. Once the chip went in then I had to have an FMIC, Milltek high flow exhaust, then Samco hoses and of course a Schwing TTDA. I did just have a Yankee overhaul performed as well all under warranty as part of the 50k service hence the remark that from now on it will cost me.
