AoA is going to offer Trade Assistance (Help Needed)
I have a 2001 TTR that I bought in July of 2003. It was an Audi Certified Used Vehicle with 19,000 Miles. It now has 24,000 and has been in the shop for over 45 days. I've been complaing to Audi and today they told me they were going to offer me Trade Assistance. They told me I was going to get a letter outlining the details.
Could anyone here tell me what to expect in this letter? What kind of options have others been offered?

It's tough to tell what they'll offer you. It could be anything from nothing to free accessories to a buy back to a favorable deal on a new TT. Really depends on the circumstances and who's handling it.
I've gone through this twice. The first time they were bastards and the second time they were truly fantastic! Go figure.
I certainly do think that you're usually better off trying to work it out on your own rather than going through an attorney. Obviously, there may be some difficult cases where an attorney is required, but once the word "attorney" gets mentioned, the case is handled by an entirely different group of individuals.
From what I can see, they may be tougher when an owner takes a hard line and gets an attorney versus when the owner has a good attitude, is cooperative, and handles the situation somewhat more casually. Just my opinion.
