Default Paging Mr. Bipes>>>>

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/62829/headunitwiring.jpg"></center><p>
Do I need to do anything to the amp switch? After many calls to the Crutchfield tech, I got the wire colors needed. But after all wires are connected, still no sound. Do I need to do anything to the "remote amp. switch on" connection? do i need to "tap off a switched source?" if so, where is that? Really hit a brick wall here. thanks.

Default The "amp switch" is the remote turn on lead for either the

Bose amp (if you have Bose) or an aftermarket amplifier (if you have one).

Default Jeff, does this "remote turn on" only apply to the Bose systems, or

does it also apply to turn on the power amp which feeds the rear speakers in a non-Bosed TT??

Default Hey! how did you manage to connect the "RR", "LR" and "COM" connections?

If you got a wiring harness, which one did you get and where from??

I'm desperately trying to find such a connector (see my new thread just a couple posts above..)

Default It's a remote amp-turn on circuit for Bose or non-Bose systems, that;s what it does.

the non-Bose systems still have an amp to power the rear speakers, just not as big

Just splice into the wires on the harness, you guys make it *so* difficult.

Ok, so you still need to wire the remote turn-on for non-Bose systems, I get it..
