Why I bought Yokohama AVS
One week ago I was headed northeast on I290 in Worcester-behind an oversize load, a car on either side of me-and VOILA a mega pothole appears-right side goes through with a bang, followed by "lumplumplump" sounds.
Long story short-Dunlop Wintersports near end of life are toasted, with a radial sidewall split on the front and a large bulge on the rear.
So I got me my summer tires a bit early, Yokohama AVS Sport in 225/40-18. That's what the tire store had in stock.

You mean you had no other choice, that's why you bought them?
Man, the Yokos are great tires. Just bought a set for myself but haven't mounted them yet. My buddy wears them on his A3 and they stick like glue. You made the right choice...
