Mr. Bipes - I looked in your "How To" section but...
couldn't find the answer.
is there a way to get only the front parking lights to come on when car is turned on, like on the Corvette (ie. Daytime running lamps)

If you want to do it, I can give you some pointers, but it's not for me.
First of all, Audi separates the left and right side parking lamps.
You can get at these from the headlight switch.
The problem is, that if you power these from an ignition turn-on source, you will get the rear tail-lights on also.
You will need to go right to the actual wires going to the parking lights, and wire in a separate wire to the points. You will need to use a diode on the main parking light signal from the headlight, to isolate this signal, so it does not feed-back into the rest of the wiring harness.

Have you considerred Angel/Demon eyes instead?
seems like daytime driving/fog lights may be a bit complicated. For me at least. :-) plus I'm not sure how much of a draw the lights are on electricity, not much I don't think, but may be a factor on performance<---my theory, don't laff.
