EastTcoastt and John P. looking for mounting adaptors for my rear speakers- universal?
Where do you think I can get them? I have some polk rears in my coupe, and they are literally hanging on with one screw. I want to be able to mount the adaptor to the car and then the speakers to the adaptor. Is the Audi screws a universal deal- ie will they have adaptors like this at Best Buy or something? Otherwise does something have to be fabricated? Universal=cheap Fabricated=$$$$

Either take the stock speaker and blow it apart to use it as a frame:

You need to unbolt the anchors for the rear seat backs...
then you just pull it away- takes a LOT of pulling... I try to get my hand back there and close to the snap and put more pressure- don't want to bend the panel TOO much- TOO much=ripping the material
