Protective clear film
What is the best way to peel off the film safely without hurting the painted surface underneith? I'm not sure if I want to put a new clean film on yet, but the old one has too many tiny scratches.
I hear waxing the film like the finish is advisable. (end)
I have it at home and use it to polish acrylic tables. I expect it might work to take scratches out of your clear cover on your bumper.
If you do decide to have the clear protective cover removed, go to a professional shop where they install that stuff. Have it removed by someone who knows how to do it without f**king up the underlying paint finish. And be prepared that may not be possible and removal might mean you have to have the front bumper repainted after the protective film is removed...

I thought the whole point of the film was to protect the original paint job. If the removal process is not easy, or cost effective, I don't see why anyone would want to layer this film over the original paint.
If the film can be 1) easily replaced/removed, or 2) easily repaired, I see the point of this film.
It seems from the feed back here, it is not a cost effective replacable/removable thing. I will try plastic polish next, but waxing did not work. I'm sceptical about it's repairbility at this point....

I have taken the car up the state of Kalifornia and not one nick. It really works.
I was told taking the film off is not hard.
I have not considered the plastic polish. This is a good alternative....
