phatbox or ipod which one is better?
Will the vw phatbox work with our head units?
I'm thinking of getting the ipod mini, but it doesnt seem to have a car kit? I may be wrong.. I kinda like to use the headunit to control stuff still tho.. I'm leaning toward the phatbox now.. comments ?

I chose to go with the ipod so I could take it with me...It does come with a car kit from..
Jeff Bipes. It connects to the OEM cd Player and then to Ipod. It works and sounds great. The only benifit to the Phat box that I can see is that you can operate through OEM head unit. I would go for the Ipod if you want to be able to use in other cars.

i love the phatbox, have one in each car
the ipod is not integrated enough for my tastes, plus i have more music than it can hold. also, the phatbox looks pimp behind the driver's seat :-)
